As a cooking school, we offer a unique, hands-on cooking experience for aspiring “home chefs” of all ages and a professional program for those seeking a career in the food industry. Our Gourmet Cooking Classes are designed for fun! You will do much more than watch – in our classes, everyone works together to create the meal – and you are always guaranteed to end with great food! Each class is limited to just 10 people, ensuring that no one gets lost and that everyone gets to participate in just about everything that goes on in the class. Some cooking schools conduct much larger classes but we believe in personal attention. We pride ourselves on this individual level of instruction!

We are the oldest hands-on cooking school in Orange County, California, and we bring our considerable experience and expertise to the classroom, creating an interesting and fun learning experience for all students. Our quarterly schedule is full of classes for cooks of all levels and interests. We even offer Couples Cooking Classes, as well as Team Building Cooking! The most popular classes are repeated regularly, with new classes offered each quarter featuring fresh and seasonal ingredients. Our cooking school offers classes in two Orange County locations. The main facility is in Laguna Beach, located at 845 Laguna Canyon Road. We have recently opened another cooking school, a satellite teaching kitchen in the city of Orange. Our cooking school kitchens are available for special events! For a truly unique and fun experience, bring your group to our teaching kitchen and have a cooking party together! Great for a team-building experience, to break the ice among colleagues, celebrate a birthday, engagement or retirement! Looking for a career in the culinary field? The Laguna Culinary Arts cooking school offers an intensive Professional Chef Program, designed for people wishing to pursue a “second-career” who have a serious motivation to learn quickly and move into their new career. The Chef Program is offered as a full-time 6-month daytime program, or a part-time 12-month evening program. The curriculum, instructors, focus and methods are exactly the same in both programs – only the progression of the class differs.

Food & wine pairing is a hot topic! No culinary experience can be complete without adding the wine to enhance your menu. Our Gourmet Cheese & Wine Shop is located adjacent to our classroom kitchen in our Laguna Beach facility, and is stocked full of a dazzling array of artisan cheeses & meats, as well as an impressive selection of wine from all over the world. Join us for our weekly Wine Tasting Classes and events, or contact us about putting on a private wine & cheese tasting party for you!
